Lara has worked in the collaborative health care sector since 2008. Lara initially set up her own clinic in Dublin in 2008 and later in 2014 she collaborated with Dr. Dílis Clare in her Galway-based clinic. In 2026, Lara set up her own clinic called Pods Wellness which is located in Headford. Lara has been involved with the Heartwood Professional Herbal Medicine Course since 2018, both in relation to clinical education training for clinical tutors and supervisors as well as clinical education for students. Lara has also engaged in clinical education in her own clinic as well as hosted numerous workshops, published articles and appeared as guest speaker at conferences.
Pods Wellness is a clinic that offers both onsite and online appointments as well as regularly offering workshops and talks relating to herbal medicine and associated topics.
